Legendary crooner Tony Christie teams up with the iconic Nelson Riddle Orchestra to celebrate the life and music of Frank Sinatra and friends, for the very first time.
Tony is perhaps best known for his back catalogue of hits including 'Is This The Way to Amarillo', 'Avenues And Alleyways', 'I Did What I Did For Maria' and 'Walk Like A Panther' to name a few, but long before that he took inspiration from the greats who came before, his heroes - Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Sammy Davis Jr. Tony has long held an ambition to perform music from The Great American songbook. Nelson Riddle worked with all the greats and both composed and conducted many of Frank's iconic arrangements. Now conducted by Nelson Riddle’s son Christopher Riddle (hailing from Los Angeles), Christie teams up to perform hits aplenty including 'I've Got You Under My Skin', 'Ain't That A Kick', 'New York, New York', 'My Way', 'I Get A Kick Out of You' and many more as they celebrate the legends who paved the way. Starts: 7.30pm Tickets: £32*, Under 25's £5*. Festival Friends £2 off Venue: The Apex, Bury St Edmunds *Includes £1 booking fee This event is promoted by Bury Festival.
