Every year there are different ways in which to take part in the Festival
Bury Busk
This ran very successfully in 2010 as buskers appeared all over town and we are delighted to be able to run it again in 2011.If your thing is classical, jazz, pop, indie, folk or any other kind of music and would like to take part, you can download the form. Please make sure that you return the form and cd/mp3 to the address on the form by 31 March 2011. You will need to perform an acoustic set with nothing more than a small buskers amp; no pa systems will be permitted.
Volunteer Stewarding
We are always looking for great volunteers to join our team of Festival stewards to help the various events run smoothly. Whether you are young or old, there are many aspects of the Festival stewarding that you can get involved in.
As a volunteer steward you can choose to work as few or as many events (depending on availability) as you are able to offer. We offer in return for your time the chance to watch some fantastic Festival events whilst stewarding, but also a pair of complimentary tickets for an event of your choice (subject to availability) for you to sit back and enjoy!!
