Every year there are many ways to take part in the Festival - keep an eye out here, in the festival brochure and in the local press for details as they develop for 2011

Bury Busk

In 2010 we launched Bury Busk which featured buskers at 12 locations around the town centre -
something we hope to repeat in 2011.

If you're thing is classical, jazz, pop, indie, folk or any other kind of music and would like to take part, please click here for a form. Please make sure that you return the form and cd/mp3 to the address on the form by 31 March 2011. You will need to perform an acoustic set with nothing more than a small buskers amp, but no pa systems will be permitted.

Every year we try to involve schools projects as part of the festival. If you would be interested in finding out more and discussing further then please contact Nick Wells on nick@buryfestival.co.uk or 01284 758103.

We are always looking for great volunteers to join our team of Festival stewards to support the delivery of our events. Whether you are young or old, there are many aspects of the Festival stewarding that you can get involved in.

As a volunteer steward you can choose to work as few or as many events (depending on availability) as you are able to offer.

We offer in return for your time the chance to watch some fantastic Festival events whilst stewarding, but also a pair of complimentary tickets for an event of your choice (subject to availability) for you to sit back and enjoy!!
